Mike has worked in the Discovery Centre for more than 20 years, on the first floor at the Museum, as an Information Officer. In that time, many thousands of questions and objects have been tracked through the centre. These relate to almost any imaginable subject in the fields of natural history and ethnography.
The Discovery Centre was established at the South Australian Museum in 1963 as an information and identification service to be used by members of the general public.
We have hands on displays as well as reference material and a wide range of specimens that can be used for personal identifications and research.
