Stage 2 & 3 of the Origin Energy Fossil Gallery

The remarkable Ediacaran and Cambrian Fossils of South Australia will finally go on public display.

These fossils were discovered in the Flinders Ranges, Mount Lofty Ranges and Kangaroo Island and reveal the origin of animal life in the oceans. They are evidence of the earliest marine animals that lived on earth.

The Origin Energy Fossil Gallery will also feature the extinct Megafauna of South Australia, including the marsupials and reptiles from the World Heritage Victoria Caves near Naracoorte, and newly discovered fossils from Burra.
