Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize™ Gala Launch

Be part of the glamour at the black-tie gala launch of the Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize™ on Friday 15 July 2011. Purchase your tickets now on 08 8207 7377 to see the presentation of winners, and have the first opportunity to purchase artworks. Tickets are $125 each. All proceeds of ticket sales support the Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize™.

Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize™ Exhibition

The exhibition for the Waterhouse Art Prize™ will open from Saturday 16 July to Sunday 4 September 2011 from 10am to 5pm daily. See the artworks that make up this exquisite exhibition and vote in the People’s Choice to go in the draw to win a trip to Antarctica. Entry fees apply.

School Holiday Program: NAIDOC Week

Celebrate NAIDOC Week at the South Australian Museum from 11 to 22 July. Enjoy a fun-filled day of arts and crafts, performances, trails, sing-a-longs and see behind-the-scenes displays.

Out of the Glass Case Roadshows

The SA Museum is on the road and coming to a Westfield Shopping Centre near you. Drop in for a chat, workshop and activities. Marion 20 & 21 July, West Lakes 22 July, Tea Tree Plaza 23 July, 10am to 3pm.

Sprigg Lecture

Book your spot at the next Sprigg Lecture on Tuesday 16 August 2011. Dr Kate Selway from the University of Adelaide presents The Earth Beneath Your Feet. Bookings are essential on 08 8207 7090. The North Star Hotel in Melrose is presenting a special repeat of Dr Danielle Clode’s March Lecture Megafauna and Other Curiosities on Friday 26 August.
