Did you know that more people have been to space than to the bottom of the ocean? Take an adventure into the unknown in this startling and captivating exhibition about the abyss, featuring more than 90 real deep-sea specimens from our own collections. Exhibition entry fees apply.
Heart of Darkness: The 1909 Congo Exhibition
See this exhibition of objects and photographs from Africa that form part of the museum's extensive Foreign Ethnology Collections. The exhibition was originally shown in 1909 in the United Kingdom to raise awareness of the atrocities which were taking place in the upper Congo.
Discover the science of DNA barcoding and how it is being used to catalogue the world's vast biodiversity. See this artistic representation of the Barcode of Life Database in the North Foyer - all is not what it seems.
