ANZANG Nature Photography Exhibition

See the unique natural beauty of Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica and New Guinea through the eye of the nature photographer. This year's highly anticipated exhibition opens on 5 October. Winners will be announced on 4 October. $7 adults, $5 concession.

School Holiday Program

This is the final week of our spring School Holiday Program, Capturing Biodiversity. Share your creative nature photos on our Facebook wall and we'll print and display them. Enjoy lots of hands-on activities and special sessions with a puppet maker from the Credit Union Christmas Pageant. Don't forget to follow the Pageant Trail through the Museum and along North Terrace from 4-7 October. Free.

Ceramics Triennale

See this exhibition of contemporary Indigenous ceramics from Ernabella Arts, on display as part of the Australian Ceramics Triennale, Subversive Clay. Free.

Book for November Sprigg Lecture

Bookings for the last Sprigg Lecture of 2012 will open on 14 October. Don't miss Professor Barry Brook's talk about the challenges of biodiversity conservation. Bookings essential on 08 8207 7090. Free.

Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize in Canberra

If you missed the exceptional exhibition at the South Australian Museum and are visiting our nation's capital, you can still see winning and highly commended works at the National Archives of Australia until 11 November.
