Minerals and Mawson

One of Sir Douglas Mawson's many roles was to look after this museum's mineral collections. In fact the black display case at one end of the Mineral Gallery is one of a set that he commissioned. It is therefore appropriate that any exploration of minerals include both the Mawson and Minerals Galleries.
