Years 4–6
Students visiting the Mawson and Minerals galleries have a unique opportunity to learn about rocks and minerals in a variety of ways. Their ideas about rocks and minerals will be enriched as they look at the variety of minerals in the Museum's collection and explore the geological work of Douglas Mawson.
We recommend a lesson with an Education Officer to enable students to handle examples of rocks and different minerals.
