The Museum's Explorers' Tent at WOMADadelaide.

Every year the Museum has an Explorers’ Tent in the KidZone at WOMADelaide.

This year they're going to Ancient Egypt. Unravel and explore the fascinating world of mummies with hands-on workshops making cat amulets, an exotic minerals and semi-precious stone display evoking the beauty of Ancient Egyptian jewellery and discover ancient artefacts in the dig pit! And there's face painting like an Egyptian.

The Explorers' Tent runs programs from Saturday to Monday, March 12-14. Numbers are limited at some sessions and are by booking only at the Tent on the day. So make a bee-line when you get to WOMADelaide to see the schedule and get in quick.

The Explorers’ Tent is part of the South Australian Museum’s Out of the Glass Case
Outreach Program, generously supported by Beach Energy and the Wood Foundation.
