Educating, inspiring, and bringing people together for over 150 years…

Letter from the Director

The South Australian Museum is a special place, and has for over 150 years been committed to educating, inspiring, and bringing people together.

Today it has become one of the most highly visited museums in Australia, and a global leader in Australian Aboriginal heritage and scientific research.

The museum successfully carries out its mission to protect, interpret and grow its vast collections through a strategic program of research, collaboration, education, public programs, community outreach, and award-winning exhibitions.

To continue this important and meaningful work the museum is grateful for the crucial support provided by its friends and supporters. There are many ways for individuals, foundations, and corporations to give their generous support to the SA Museum.

Please contact the South Australian Museum today to learn more about how you can get involved.
