Young Explorers: What is Science?

Discover the wonders of the Museum with Young Explorers. Have you ever wondered how museums make collections?

Our popular Young Explorers program is designed especially for children aged 3 to 6, offering them an interactive experience inspired by the stories, objects and spaces of the South Australian Museum. Experienced facilitators use play experiences to engage the senses, incorporating story, song, movement, rhyme, observation, and exploration in each session.

In our What is science? program, we explore how scientists work and how museums make collections. What is science, and why is it so important?

Recommended for families with children aged 3 to 6 years.
