Kaneang (WA)

LocationOn the upper Blackwood River; east to a line joining Katanning, Tambellup, Cranbrook, and Tenterden; at Kojonup, Collie, Qualeup, Donnybrook, Greenbushes, Bridgetown; headwaters of Warren and Frankland rivers; south bank of Collie River to Collie; in later days they went west to the coast and as far north as Harvey. Northeastern limits of the tribe correspond with the change from place names with [-up] terminations to ones with [-ing].
