Ngadlu tampinthi ngadlu Kaurna Miyurna yartangka. Munaintya puru purruna ngadlu-itya. Munaintyanangku yalaka tarrkarriana tuntarri.
We acknowledge we are on Kaurna Miyurna land. The Dreaming is still living. From the past, in the present, into the future, forever.
Charles Newling was a photographer based in Mount Gambier in the 1890's and early 1900's. Prior to that time he had worked as a photographer in Victoria, based at Bairnsdale and then in Carlton. He was elected inaugural vice-president of the Mt Gambier Photographic Club at its first meeting in 1903. He left Mt Gambier in the following year and apparently moved to New Zealand.
See also SAMA 1111 for further Newling photographs.
