Ngadlu tampinthi ngadlu Kaurna Miyurna yartangka. Munaintya puru purruna ngadlu-itya. Munaintyanangku yalaka tarrkarriana tuntarri.

We acknowledge we are on Kaurna Miyurna land. The Dreaming is still living. From the past, in the present, into the future, forever.

Erlikilyika also known as Jimmy Kite or Kyte was a Southern Arrernte man from Charlotte Waters, Central Australia. The station master at Charlotte Waters, PM Byrne, recommended Erlikilyika to Gillen and Spencer (AA 301) for their 1901-02 cross continental anthropological expedition. During the expedition Erlikilyika acted as an interpreter, guide, rounded up horses and was responsible for camp duties. Demonstrating artistic aptitude by drawings on bits of paper, Gillen provided him with one of his journals which he proceeded to fill with drawings. Erlikilyika was also a sculptor carving from wood or kaolinite.

In 1913, Erlikilyika exhibited his artwork in Adelaide. Herbert Basedow (AA 22) purchased many items, of which the sketchbook has been accessioned into the South Australian Museum Archives and the remainder are held in the National Museum of Australia. For a portrait of Erlikilyika see AA 22/15/2-13. It is nor clear when the sketchbook containing drawings of native trees were drawn.
