This series comprises fifteen images. Enclosed in the negative box was a note which reads Advice of Mr Fischer is that all these negatives should be kept together as a set. Western Europeans associated with Basedow, keep for early 20th century garb, etc. As well as portraits of European men and women this series also contains images of Jim Kite, an Aranda carver and artist; David Unaipon and an unnamed Aboriginal woman. Two negatives of Central Australian scenes complete this series.

For most images there are various formats, including; Glass plate negatives, copy negatives and copy prints.
