The album appears to have been compiled as a collecton of prints on various subjects. It includes teeth, skulls, Australian Aboriginal people and illustrations of travel (?social) activity).
The photographs are mounted in negative number order viz; 501-665 with space for an additional 4 (666 - 66), a note relating to CB Maddern, and a New Guinea skull (2112).
The numbering system applied to photographs is as follows:
Nxxx = negative number, Sxxxc = specimen number. The Australia Museum reference Bxxxx is subject to further investigation. Negative numbers previously allocated, lists and original system subject to research.
