A painting, framed, 28x24 inches, presented by Dr Gope 27 November 1879. The painting is of an Australian Aboriginal woman wearing a fur cloak.

On bottom left there is caption "Adelaide, September 1851. HF Schrader", the reverse of the canvas is marked "HF Schrauder 1851, Pinxit."

Apart from the item proper there is a colour and a black and white negative plus a 35mm colour slide.
