Access to the Collections of the South Australian Museum will be closed from December 2023 while staff complete essential audit work. The closure is expected to last until mid-2024. Our galleries remain open to the public.

This series comprises photos taken when Hermansburg missionary and evangelists travelled west of Hermannsburg in the 1930s and 1940s. Additional information in the form of annotation notes has been provided by Helene Burns.
