The material seems to have been originally arranged in chronological order, it has been processed in the order received.

The majority of the material relates to sale of original watercolours at art exhibitions or by Edwin Pareroultja (Australian Aboriginal man) at Athenaeum Art Gallery in November 1950 and Otto Pareroultja (Australian Aboriginal man) at The Royal Society of Arts Gallery in December 1950.

Each individual painter had a number of paintings listed by number. Only Edwin Pareroultja and Otto Pareroultja have a catalogue in this series.
