A collection of glass negatives and print copies of portrait or profile views of Australian Aboriginal people in the Northern Territory.

This series comprises glass negatives taken by Inspector Paul Foelsche from 1873 to 1893 and copies made by or for William Ramsay Smith (AA 263) and William Thomas Lingwood Smith (AA 295). The copy follows the original in sequence. Each glass plate may have copy print(s) and acetate negative(s).
