This series consists mainly black and white printed illustrations (halftone prints) which have been cut out of magazines. It also includes a map and several hand drawn cross sections of mountains.

Most of the illustrations appear to have been clipped from Aborigines' Friends' Association publications. Some illustrations have been clipped with printed captions, and there are multiple copies of some images, sometimes with different captions attached. Black and white photographic prints of some of the images in this series can be found in series AA 1/3, AA 1/5, AA 1/12, AA 1/21 and AA 1/35.

This series was arranged and described by Kay L Mead in 1980. Items within the series are numbered 1-190. A series list is available at the South Australian Museum Archives.
