This series comprises one large black and white (b/w) photographic print depicting lepers on Benjoul Island in the Northwest [of Western Australia?]. The print is stored unmounted in a binder titled 'AA 1 Aborigines' Friends' Association (AFA) Photographic Prints, Album 2 of 4'.

South Australian Museum archivist Kay L Mead described this series in 1980. In her listing she recorded a caption for this series but the exact source of the caption is not known. The caption has been retained as the 'Series Title'. Annotations found on the print have been listed in the 'Details' field of the inventory.
