This series comprises of twelve black and white (b/w) photographs depicting school scenes, an Australian Aboriginal dental nurse, a wedding couple, boys making bricks and stockmen working near Finniss Springs, South Australia. The prints are of varying size and many have original annotations written on the reverse and some also have printers' instructions. All place names and proper names from the annotations and captions have been indexed. Note that some items show unidentified people and places. The prints are stored unmounted in a binder titled 'AA 1 Aborigines' Friends' Association (AFA) Photographic Prints, Album 2 of 4'.

This series was described by South Australian Museum archivist Kay L Mead in 1980. In her listing she recorded a caption for this series but the exact source of the caption is not known. The caption has been retained as the 'Series Title'. All of the annotations and ink stamps found on the prints have been listed in the 'Details' field of the inventory.
