This series comprises one black and white (b/w) photograph depicting an unidentified Australian Aboriginal man standing with a collection of dog scalps. The print is stored unmounted in a binder titled 'AA 1 Aborigines' Friends' Association (AFA) Photographic Prints, Album 2 of 4'.

This series was described by South Australian Museum archivist Kay L Mead in 1980. In her listing she recorded a caption for this series but the exact source of the caption is not known. The caption has been retained as the 'Series Title'. There are original annotations and printers’ instructions written on the reverse of this print. All place names and proper names from the annotations and caption have been indexed. All of the annotations found on the prints have been listed in the 'Details' field of the inventory.
