This series comprises three black and white (b/w) photographs, probably taken by Ernest E Kramer (see AA 669). The three photographs were taken around the New Castle [Newcastle] Waters Cattle Station, Northern Territory on the 'Journey South'. Note that AA 1/44/3 shows unidentified people. The prints are mounted on paper, which have annotations written on the paper, and all are stored in a binder titled 'AA 1 Aborigines' Friends' Association (AFA) Photographic Prints, Album 3 of 4'.

South Australian Museum archivist Kay L Mead described this series in 1980. In her listing she recorded a caption for this series but the exact source of the caption is not known. The caption has been retained as the 'Series Title'. All place names and proper names from the annotations and caption have been indexed. All of the annotations have been listed in the 'Details' field of the inventory.

The series was part of Acc. No. 86.

This series contains references to Northern Territory.
