This series comprises two items: a typescript 'Statement by Archdeacon Bussell President of the Aborigines' Friends' Association ' Adelaide, 1 August 1935 and a copy of the publication Australian Aborigines: Photographs issued by the Aborigines' Friends' Association, Adelaide. This undated 64 page booklet includes many photographs with captions, also the objectives of the AFA, a foreword and 'An Aboriginal Pleads for His Race' by David Unaipon (seeAA 486).

Both items were previously part of the Norman B Tindale collection.
