This series comprises personal correspondence to and from Tindale for the period 1925. During this period, Tindale's title was formally reclassified to 'Assistant Entomologist' by the Museum Board, in recognition of his contribution to the Museum's collection.

This series contains a an itemised list, 'Tindale Collecting 1/2 or wholeday trips', compiled by Tindale and covering the period 1919 to 1925. The list details dates, duration and the location of collecting trips during this period.

Correspondence between RD Joynt and Tindale refers to quarantime requirements for residents affected by leprosy (sent to Channel Island, Darwin) and discussions between the Church Missionary Society and the Australian Government concerning continued adherence to isolation policies.
