This series comprises personal correspondence to and from Tindale for the period 1930. Correspondence covers Tindale's concurrent anthropological and entomological research interests. Papers published susequent to Tindale and Herbert Hale's excavation at Swan Reach on the Murray River in 1929 are referenced and interest in his research on the Australian mole cricket. Little reference is made to his participation in the Board for Anthropological Research (see AA 346) Expedition to MacDonald Downs, of that year.
