Photographic glass plate negatives from the collection of Edgar Ravenswood Waite.

The collection includes eighty nine lantern slides of New Ireland from the Anthropological Journey to the Islands of New Guinea, 1918. Also included are glass plates from the South Australian Museum Expedition to Strzelecki and Coopers Creek, 1916, E. R. Waites Trawling Expeditions and personal as well as museum related glass plate negatives. Some glass plate negatives are culturally sensitive and marked as restricted.

Collection numbers of matching photographic prints or corresponding journals have been included in the glass plate negative description.
