Dr Walker, a medical practitioner, observed and treated a variety of people for an array of illinesses, ranging from dental problems to infectious diseases during his travels and professional life, some of which is documented in this report. Both typescript and accompanying photographs have been restricted because of their cultural sensitivity.

The series comprises several copies of typescripts of the report and 53 annotated photographic illustrations accompanying the report. The report appears to have been modified and resubmitted several times. A large number of related news cuttings have also been collected and are described and indexed in AA 357/11.
