• "Native of Tennant Creek, NT"

• "367"

On the reverse is:

• Hand written text "This is the portrait of the tall Tennant Creek native "Dick" Lindsay's boy who died at the Adelaide Hospital at about 21"

• A descriptive label entitled "An Aboriginal King"

• Business Label of ES Wigg & Son

• Hand written label "AA367/1/1" and pencil notation Acc No 915 and AA367.
