This series contains photocopies of poems and an article in the possession of Daisy Bates (see AA 23 and AA 357) whilst she lived with the Lorking family in 1948 and handwritten notes by Diana Lorking. Daisy Bates permitted Diana Lorking to make copies of poems from her selection. 'The Ballad of Judas Iscariot' was recorded by Diana Lorking whilst Daisy Bates recited from memory. Daisy Bates did not have a written copy in her possession. Daisy Bates kept in correspondence with the author of the article, Arthur Mee, who lived in England.
