Ngadlu tampinthi ngadlu Kaurna Miyurna yartangka. Munaintya puru purruna ngadlu-itya. Munaintyanangku yalaka tarrkarriana tuntarri.
We acknowledge we are on Kaurna Miyurna land. The Dreaming is still living. From the past, in the present, into the future, forever.
Fourteen page original typescript by Fry, outlining his theory of totems within the Australian Aboriginal social framework. Fry gives a simplified explaination of the differences between patrilineal and matrilineal societies and their marriage systems; whilst contrasting the different terms used to describe the kinships between the Aranda, Dieri, Yaralde [Jarildekald], Pitapita, Ngarinjin [Ungarinyin], Worara [Worora] and Urabunna [Jarildekald} communities across the Gulf of Carpentaria, Western Queensland, Lake Eyre, and the Murray River mouth [SA].
This is possibly an early draft of Fry's 1935, "Kinship and Descent amoung the Australian Aborigines.", Transactions of the Royal Society of South Australia, Vol. Lviii.
