  2. Printed notice on cover reads: 'Central Australian Aborigines These Prints are from Negatives made by Mr. F. J. Gillen, S.M., who for many years was located in Central Australia. The Negatives were purchased by the Government of South Australia on the recommendation of the Board of Governors of the Public Library, Museum, and Art Gallery of South Australia in 1911, and on condition that two sets only of prints should be made from the negatives-one set to be in the custody of the Board and one set in the custody of the Minister of Education, and that no print should thereafter be made without the joint consent of the Minister and the Board. The Negtives are in one of the strong rooms of the Public Library, Museum, and Art Gallery of South Australia in box with two locks, the keys of one lock being held by the General Secretary of the Public Library, Museum, and Art Gallery of South Australia, and the keys of the second lock by the Secretary to the Hon. The Minister of Education.'
