Vic (settler) and Paddy (settler) had struck a well during their absence. Two days later [30 or 31 July] arrive Ernabella where on 8 August a party of nine arrived from Adelaide. Calculated they had covered 197 miles out and 180 miles return and had seen over 500 Australian Aboriginals on their travels.
