We acknowledge we are on Kaurna Miyurna land. The Dreaming is still living. From the past, in the present, into the future, forever.
1. Photograph 35.8.5: 'Possum catching. The claw scratches was first observed on the bark in route to the opening above of the hollow timber. The tree is then percussed and the content of the cavity ascertained. The upper opening is blocked and another cut in the lowest part. Smoke may be used to bring the animals to the opening. The hand is cautiously entered and any presenting part seized - the animal is pulled out and killed by striking it against the tree - before it has time to bite.'
