    The front of the notebook is Test Pit 3A while the back is Trench 1A.
    Test Pit 3A: Pages are numbered 1 - 46. There were several visits recorded: 20/8/1973 - 31/8/1973, 24/8/1974 - 31/8/1974 and 20/9/1974.
    There are plans of excavations, location of auger holes, descriptions of items found and samples collected.
    Trench 1A: 10 pages at the back of this notebook start with the heading "Exploration Pit of SK1 A6". Two of the pages are dated (7/7/1973 and 8/7/1973).
    There are descriptions of work done, plans and details of samples collected.
