Camel team approaching Wells Creek

Photograph of nine expedition camels, near Wells Creek (SA). There is water on the ground which is the result of 135 points of rain the previous night.

This photograph is also displayed in 'Transactions and Proceedings of the Royal Society of South Australia' vol. 41 Fig. 2 on plate XXIX. Edgar Waite makes reference to the photograph on p415 and p653.
