This journal documents Tindale's second research visit to Lake Menindee in New South Wales, from March - April 1953. It is the second of three volumes. This expedition was undertaken in the company of Prof. Stirton from the Department of Palaeontology, University of California, and his assistant R [Dick] Tedford. Newspaper clippings and correspondence are contained in the volume. A plan of the excavations at Menindee is inserted at the back of the volume.
