This is the second of three volumes. Volume 3 contains an alphabetical index for all three journals. The volume commences on page 475, includes pages 670a, 672a, 693a, 694a, and 696a and ends on page 704. The journal entries have been written on the right-hand side leaving the left for annotations, drawings etc. Included in the volume is a contents list, newspaper clippings, letters received, catalogue data for ethnographic specimens photographed in the Leiden Museum, rubbings, receipt, plates, guide to the Pergamon Altar, invitation, postcards, map, and train pass.
