Annotated colour geological survey map printed in 1931 showing southeastern Australia, including Tasmania (Sheet 4 of 4). Tindale's extensive notes in various inks and pencil include Aboriginal place names, 'tribal' names and boundaries (dates of annotation unknown). Refer to the map for names of groups represented. A tiny note in india ink (above the 'S' in New 'S'outh Wales) refers to Harvard and Adelaide Expedition journal, page 9. Sheet 3 contains index to geological information. Scale 4 inches = 192 miles or 10 cm = 300 km (approx). See also Sheets 1-3 (maps 338/15/92-94).
