Annotated printed map of the Canning Stock Route Expedition of 1908-1910 drawn by A. W. Canning. Sheet 3 (of 4 sheets) shows route north from 'No. 29 Well' to 'No. 45 Well'. Tindale recorded Aboriginal place names in various inks with 'tribal' names added later in pencil. A margin note on Sheet 4 (338/15/91) reads, 'Original data: - Ink names are those obtained by N. B. Tindale in 1953 by interrogation of and obtaining of native maps from aborigines during UCLA Expedition to NW. Australia (See all 4 sheets)'. Scale 1 inch = 5 miles.
