Annotated colour geological survey map printed in 1931 showing northwestern Australia (Sheet 1 of 4). Tindale's extensive notes in various inks and pencil include Aboriginal place names and 'tribal' names and boundaries. Refer to the map for names of groups represented. Sheet 3 contains index to geological information. Scale 4 inches = 192 miles or 10 cm = 300 km (approx). See also Sheets 2-4 (maps 338/15/93-94 and 338/15/29).
