Annotated colour map shows public works including major roads, stock routes, drains and water supplies, abandoned bores and railways. A line drawn in india ink defines area extending from east of Loxton west and south to Murray River and Mannum, and southeast to near Bordertown. Tindale's accompanying note reads: 'Kuring language', with arrow pointing to Mildura, Victoria. Area from Truro south to Mount Pleasant is circled in pencil. Scale 3 1/4 inches = 100 miles (approx).
