Archive Collections / Dr Norman Barnett Tindale / Series AA338/16 / Map of the eastern portions of Hundred of Kongorong and Hundred of Benara

Untitled linen-backed topographical map of the eastern portions of Hundred of Kongorong and Hundred of Benara, County Grey, cut from a larger sheet. Area with annotations includes Pig Face Flat, Mount Schank and Douglas Point. Geological features highlighted in colour pencils with dunes shaded yellow (possibly by Tindale). Tindale added notes on vegetation in pencil. 'Miocene Limestone' sites north of Douglas Point are labelled in india ink. Notes on reverse in india ink read: 'Hindmarsh' (name of adjoining Hundred printed front top - not the actual map title). Scale 2 inches = 1 mile (80 chains). See also maps 338/16/36-37 and 39.
