Annotated map printed in blue and black containing Aboriginal place names, local group or clan names, 'tribes' and boundaries, and archaeological sites in the lower Murray River Valley. Tindale's notes in pencil include 'place names written up', reference to 'Wanjakalde language' and a reference to map 338/16/3: 'entry place for Ngarkat people to river in times of water shortage (fide Jerry Mason)' (see also maps 338/16/69-70). Map was published for UNESCO Regional Seminar in Adelaide, September 1978 (see series 338/16 for further information). Scale 1 cm = 1 km.
