Handwritten names and boundary lines in green pen show 'tribal' distribution in southwestern Australia prior to publication of Tindale's 1974 map. Additional notes in pencil refer to 'Western limit' of circumcision and subincision rites. Brown pencil lines refer to 'pathway' (see key on map 338/19/4). The base map was produced by Division of National Mapping, Department of National Development, Canberra, ACT, 1967. Scale: 10 cm = 250 km or 16 cm = 250 miles. This map is part of a four-sheet set used by Tindale (maps 338/19/1-4).
