Map of County Adelaide. Includes area from Gawler River and Para River south to Aldinga Bay and Mount Magnificent. Extends east to Mount Pleasant and Echunga. Contains mainly Aboriginal 'Place names from Tindale mss. [manuscript]' recorded in red ink. Notes refer to Milerum song in 'South East of S. Australia' journal 338/1/33/2, p.255, and to Reuben Walker, p.186. Tindale sketched 'tribal' boundaries and noted 'Tandanja' in pencil. Mount Torrens is circled in pencil with accompanying note: 'Jenny Christmas country Peramangk Tr[ibe]'. Also noted is [Section?] '737' of Hundred of Myponga (see same note on map 338/24/98). Scale 1 inch = 2 miles.
