'Genealogical Data on the Aborigines of Australia gathered during the University of California at Los Angeles and University of Adelaide Anthropological Expedition genealogies, 1952-54' by NB Tindale, JP Epling and JB Birdsell.

This group of genealogies comprises five bound volumes of genealogies collected on the University of California at Los Angeles and University of Adelaide Anthropological Expedition, 1952-54 (Board for Anthropological Research Expedition R). The genealogies were collected by NB Tindale (see AA 338), PJ Epling and JB Birdsell (see AA 689).

The genealogies generally show more than two generations, and include a range of information, from names, age or birthdate, place of birth, tribe or place of origin, 'genetic class', to notes on personal history such as occupation and place of residence. They are recorded on double foolscap sheets. Some extend across multiple sheets. Genealogies have the place at and date on which the data was recorded written on the top left hand corner. Individual subject numbers are also recorded, and these can be used to refer back to the data cards collected on the expedition (see AA 346/4/23)
