This is the eleventh of twelve film titles documenting the Board for Anthropological Research (BAR) Harvard-Adelaide Universities expedition, during 13 May 1938 - 30 June 1939.

This expedition travelled through South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia. For a listing of the locations visited by the expedition party see: JB Birdsell's 'Australian Daily Field Journal 1938-1939' (AA 689/1/1) and NB Tindale's Journal 'Harvard and Adelaide Universities Anthropological Expedition, Australia, 1938-1939' (AA 338/1/15/1-2).

This unfinished film was possibly intended to be produced as 'Records of Australian Native Mammals' to be shown in the South Australian Museum's (SAMA) Children's Museum. See: (AA 346/9/13/1). This film was unfinished and has not been digitally transferred. Unlike the other films there are no annotations by NB Tindale (AA 338) on the edge of the film. Intertitles produced but not added were used in the making of this summary. See: (AA 346/9/13/8), Time Codes 06:49-07:33. The intertitles were left as originally spelt, however in this film summary only the current common and scientific names have been included. This film has not been digitally transferred.
