This is the second of two final film productions documenting the Board for Anthropological Research (BAR) expedition to Maningrida, Northern Territory, during August 1959.
The party visited localities in the Northern Territory including: Darwin, Maningrida and Yirrkala.
The cinematographer was AA Abbie (AA 688). 'Scenes in Arnhem Land' contains footage from 'An Anthropological Expedition to Maningrida' (AA 346/9/19/1) as well as footage that is not included in that final film production.
